Out of the Sentinel Mountains winds the Oroh River, along which have sprung up several fishing and farming communities.
As the Oroh approaches the sea, it carves a wide valley whose fertile conditions have resulted in lush forests on either side of the river. Within this area, known colloquially as the Verdant Vale, lies the town of Boswin, a significant port for those traveling both up and down river.
Beyond the environs of Boswin a smattering of Elvish tribal groups make their homes throughout the woods.
A group of Halflings operates a small mining operation near the southern cliff wall. Some people think it’s unusual for Halflings to run a mine, but the Halflings don’t care. Neither do they explain themselves.
